How to Use Bondage Ropes Beyond BDSM
Surrender to your partner, obey their every command, or on the contrary, indulge in the helplessness that turns you on so intensely and let yourself be punished for every act of disobedience. Start by tying the other person’s hands behind their back and watch how you both feel. We bet you’ll want to go further… and explore new boundaries.
Try, for example, the Sex Extra Bondage Rope, made from 100% cotton, which won’t slip while still being soft and less likely to dig into the skin. Or invest straight away in the Secret Pleasure Chest Black set, with which you can discover every corner of bondage.

What is bondage?
It is a technique of erotic partner restraint, most often using hemp ropes, ranging from subtle small knots to knotting techniques that completely restrict movement. As part of erotic restraint, you can tie a partner’s hands or feet to a bed, radiator, or other furniture. There are also elaborate constructions onto which a partner can be positioned using ropes and knots. However, these are the most advanced bondage techniques, which should only be practiced by experienced bondage masters.
Categories and types of erotic restraint
Bondage techniques originally emerged in Japan during the torture of prisoners. The basic form is Japanese Shibari bondage, which is divided into three parts:
1. Karada
For tying the whole body.
2. Sukarabo
Tying the lower half of the body, including the crotch.
3. Shindžu
Tying the upper half of the body and breasts.
Another way to classify erotic restraint of a partner is:
1. Spooning
The spooning or rag doll position. The rear partner’s arms are tied in front of the person lying in front.
2. Tying a partner to the bed
Using rope or cuffs. Suitable for foreplay or stimulation with a vibrator.
3. Hogtie
The hands and feet are secured together at one point.
4. Frogtie
The submissive person has their ankles tied to the backs of their thighs. Their hands are bound together behind his or her back.
5. Tying a partner to a chair
The submissive person sits on a chair with their ankles tied to the chair legs while the arms are bound behind the backrest.

The safety of tying up a partner depends solely on the responsibility of each person involved. The basic safety rules include:
1. A clear and distinct “safe word” that stops any activity that has become too painful.
2. Perfect knowledge of the knot being used and especially how to release it quickly.
3. Mutual agreement and clearly defined boundaries beyond which you are not willing to go.Want to learn more about bondage? Read our detailed article How to Do Bondage? and you’ll see that you can discover a whole new dimension of eroticism.
